Research task 2 – Film Opening Conventions
| Production Logo and Film Title | The production logo is shown to invoke brand recognition within the audience. A Film name and the way it is shown is chosen to represent the genre and tone |

Analysing film openings

Production Company and Logo Research
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. The film production company was founded by the 4 Warner brothers. The Barbie movie (2023) was the corporation’s most successful film. They are owned by Paramount, this caused a controversy due to “monopolistic” practises.
The target demographic for warner bros is large as they target many people from all ages. They altered the design away from the traditional gold and blue and changed the logo to look more ‘generic’. Many people disagree with the change in the logo and prefer the old logo.
Inspiration for our film
We used a scene from Home Alone 2 (1992) of the window being smashed by a brick as we want a similar scene in our movie as the significance of the window breaking in our movie is important.
