Preliminary Task 1-Camera techniques practice
To practise our learning of camera techniques we were given the task to take photos around the school to try and use a variety of camera angles to convey different meanings and purposes.
Below is the work my group did. We found it easy in the beginning as finding ideas was easy but once we had completed the majority of the tasks it became more difficult to use unique camera angles to convey the meanings we intended.
Preliminary Task 2
Within this task my group was tasked with creating a plan to make a short opening to a film with the prompt “you haven’t left the house for months if you don’t leave today you never will” this directed us to create the general plot from which i created the moodboard, I chose a limited number of images as the vision we had for the opening was very abstract. The other members collaborated to create the Storyboard.

Preliminary task 3 Filming
For this task we are writing and filming a one minute clip in groups of 3. The prompt for this task was to include “He/She’s gone”, must include a prop of significance and have an unanswered question . Our group ultimately decided on having the protagonist receive a text message and then slouching over and saying “Shes gone” we did this as it fit all the criteria of the task and was within the Drama genre. We then worked together on the pre-production tasks and all contributed to the Storyboard. I was the actor for the protagonist. The other members of my group filmed and directed.
