preliminary task 1
In preliminary task 1 we went out to take photos on phrases with different camera angles we went around the school to get photos of the theme’s.
we went out to take phots and used some camera angles i learned that different angles show different meanings showing that with lower angles making things bigger and bold while smaller lower angles are to make things seem weak and fragile. i feel that the way the camera is used can show hidden meanings while being simplistic shots.
preliminary task 2
In preliminary task in class we were given a prompt about last chance to leave a house we then had to make a presentation with out mood board and story boards then we presented to the class.
This practice were we created a mood board and story board with a brainstorm i helped with making the story board were i got the images and wrote about the camera and sound technique’s with one of the images generated by Canva ai which was frame 4 the man looking at the door from an over the shoulder shot.
Preliminary task 3
In preliminary task 3 we created a short clip in school with the prompt ” she’s gone” were we created a storyboard and filmed and edited a short clip with a few scenes.
planning we talked about our scenes and how we would use a phone as a prob. Our story will have 2 characters 1 that leaves and one who didn’t relies they left. Leading to them realizing at the end of the film
For our group I helped with camera positioning setting up camera gear and the gimble set up and zooming with the camera i now know how lighting and how the gear worked. I also acted for the start i believe that i am not fit to be an actor for my course work.
I edited this short film together with sound effects from sound cloud as well as enhanced the audio sound to make the dialogue sound while making the effect of loneliness and quite while the lighting being dark to show the light from the screen.
