Preliminary Task 1<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During our preliminary task, we had to pitch a 30 second scene revolving around the prompt :”You haven’t left the house in months, if you don’t leave today, you never will”. We pitched our idea of a zombie apocalypse style scene through a powerpoint, which we went on to present to our class. The aim of carrying out this task was to think about the micro-elements and various aspects that would go into a 30 second clip. It also allowed for us to properly analyse what these elements do and their effects on the audience, which we will need for the final end of year exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preliminary Task 2<\/strong> Moodboard<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With our prompt being: Film a 30 second clip surrounding the title “It’s Gone”, my group and I wanted to create a mafia style scene where a man is owing the mafia a large sum of money. We wanted to produce it in black and white for an older style look, featuring mis-en-scene of what would be expected of a 1970s Mafia style film, showing class, wealth, and hierarchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
