In class we watched episode 1, season 1 of the apple TV show ‘Severance’ this show is classified as a thriller and follows the narrative of a man named mark who has his memory of the outside world erased every time, he enters his work then it is given back when he leaves work. And he slowly learns that his work is bad because of a guy named Petey told him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this episode we see key typical thriller conventions of scary\/unnatural themes these are shown through the robotic nature of the boss and the way that Helly was lying across a table in a locked room as her first time shown in the show. In our coursework we will have the option of producing a thriller film opening, therefore we are researching this genre to help us with our decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
